Life is crazy. We all know this. However, sometimes you reach a point when you think to yourself: "wow, i need a break." Right now is that time for me. I do not like starting every week wishing it was Friday already and I don't want to just fast forward my life or skip over things. Right now I just want to press pause. To relax and not have to worry about any obligations. I want to teleport to some sunny remote island and spend a week not thinking about anything, worrying about having to be somewhere at a certain time, or about the daily drama. If I could, I would just spend a little time outside of myself and then I think I would feel better. Don't get me wrong, I love everything that I have going on and that I do. But I'm just so behind in my classes from those few days that I missed when I broke my foot and I'm having a really tough time trying to catch up. I guess it's probably not such a good idea that I still choose to go out. Oops.
On to better things... I enjoyed most of my weekend. Friday I had to work 'Oneonta's Got Talent' and train a new tech person. It was an okay show and I had fun with the trainee, but it just seemed to go on forever. But I still went out after! I went out with my friend Meg that goes to Cortland and I had a blast with her at the Sake Club. Saturday I went to work at noon to set-up for the Family Weekend show. I ended up mostly driving the SA van around all day picking up equipment, shopping for the show, and then I had the pleasure of picking up and driving Christian Finnegan around. He was very nice and it took my mind off of alot of things that have been going on. And then I went out with Heather after to the pub, where some crazy guy started jamming on a harmonica to the music playing on the jukebox and then proceeded to come over and hit on Heather and myself. He got really close to me and asked my name...and of course I told him my name was Veronica(why was that the first name to come to my mind?... I don't know). Then he told me I was gorgeous, so I decided it was a good decision to tell him that the kid next to me was my boyfriend. I just love playing that game. Heather had an even better experience with this guy. He came up to her and she played the lesbian card and so of course his response was to say that he loved women who put out. And then he proceeded to ask her if she ever had fantasies about male slaves. Awesome. She is one foxy gal. And then we went ended up hanging out with some guys we met (one being my boyfriend for the night) and we stayed up until 5:30am and made mac and cheese at 5am. Haha. And then Sunday I ended up going home to spend some QT with the rents. <3
My next adventure begins when I leave for NACA on Wednesday and spend the next few days in good ol' Lancaster, PA. It should be a good time. :) I'm really looking forward to getting out of Oneonta for a few days.

i do believe ms. cleary used the name "veronica" when she was recently hit on by a sketchball and wrote about it in her blog. perhaps that was what made you choose that name.
talent in Oneonta.. haha what's that all about? Oneonta Idol? <3
